In 2010, Super Mario All-Stars was ported to the Wii and released as Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. It was released in Japan on October 21, 2010 and in all other regions in December 2010 on Wii optical disc. The game disc contains an emulation of the original SNES ROM image, with support for the Wii Remote, Classic Controller, and GameCube controllers.
